DISTURBING THE PEACE

On March 7th we screened Disturbing The Peace. We thought it was important to highlight collaboration in our current polarized world, where the idea of a meaningful exchange of ideas between opposing factions has been all but abandoned. We took lessons from the Israeli's and Palestinians who disturb the status quo. This documentary showed us the possibility of determined optimism and the power of conversation.  

After the screening, Janera Soerel spoke to Steve Apkon (Director), Marcina Hale (Producer) and the two special guests combatants for peace, one from Israel and the other from Palestine.
